Giving a donation; where does my contribution go & who will benefit from it?

We are a charity limited by guarantee, who collect good quality donated furniture, carpets and household goods – white goods (no gas appliances) and electrical equipment throughout the whole of South Yorkshire residents, and after a quality check, sell them on to (our beneficiaries) at a low affordable cost. All monies generated are ploughed back into the Charity- we are strictly none profit making.

The people who can access our wares are mainly people on state benefits, and or low incomes. These people consist of carers, pensioners, asylum seekers, ethnic minorities, and young people setting up home for the first time, women leaving refuges, ex-offenders and others in need of our services. We do not turn anyone away!

Collection Rules & Regulations:

• All goods donated must be of an acceptable resale condition.
• All items which are upholstered must have the appropriate fire label attached.
• All items which contain glass must have the British Standards 'Kite mark' on them.
• Items that are soiled, heavily scratched, ripped, broken or have animal hair on them will be refused for Health and Safety reasons.
